In 2004 Ken Jennings made history when he broke all game show records playing 74 straight games, with winnings of over $2.5 million, on the internationally syndicated game show Jeopardy!
Ken is now one of the most recognizable personalities in North America. He has been profiled in scores of magazines and newspapers, has appeared on TV shows such as Good Morning America, David Letterman, Jay Leno, Ellen DeGeneres, Sesame Street, Live with Regis and Kelly, A & E Biography, and Barbara Walters named Ken one of the ten most fascinating people of 2004.
Ken was born in Edmonds, Washington in 1974. He grew up in Seoul, South Korea and Singapore, where his father worked for an international law firm. He attended college at Brigham Young University in Utah, where he received degrees in computer science and English. Ken was also on BYU's quiz bowl team for three years. Ken is an avid comic book and movie buff. He also writes questions, and edits literature and mythology categories for National Academic Quiz Tournaments, a quiz bowl organization.
Ken currently lives in Murray, Utah, near Salt Lake City, with his wife Mindy and his two year old son Dylan.
